Our Activities
Inti Runakunaq Wasin is open daily Monday to Friday from
8:30 to 12:30 and 2:30 to 6:30 and Saturdays from 3:00 to 7:00 providing the
following programs:
Personal Development Program: This
program develops the self-esteem, personal values, social skills, and cultural
identity of the children through different forms of artistic
expression.
Education Program: This program has the
objective to improve the academic performance of the children and to
reintegrate those who have stopped attending school back into the the education
system. To support this program, the professors receive continual training.
Vocational Skills
Program : This program develops various manual and
vocation skills of the children offering differnt options according to their age
and interests. Programs include: Handicrafts in leatherwork, sewing,
embroidery, jewelry-making, and cooking and baking.
In 2006, Inti
expanded its programs to include children with
special needs. In addition to these activities, Inti provides support
to the children's parents
