Our Mission
Inti Runakunaq Wasin is a private institution with the mission of contributing to the integral development of the various people who find themselves in situations of risk, neglect and/or are victims of domestic violence, working towards familial integration, improvement of quality of life and promoting their positive participation in the development of the country.
The emotional and spiritual development of the child, the woman and the family and the growth of personal abilities are the specific goals we aim to reach through the various educational programs, formative, occupational and those generating revenue.
The philosophy the underlies the running of the programs with the children and adolescents considers that they are all people with a high potential of development, considering the different forms of mistreatment or neglect suffered in the home, the street or the school.
The main causes of the problems of learning how to behave or socialize successfully are the lack of love and the material and moral neglect of the families, the lack of role models and positive motivation, the destructive criticism of adults that surround them and the rejection of a society that they do not feel an integral part of.
Taking into consideration these factors, the main emphasis of the work is centred on offering these young people affection, helping them to see that they too are valuable people and to discover their abilities, permanently developing direct communication, mutual respect and the values that should be present among the people who participate in the educational aims of Inti Runakunaq Wasin.
