Supporting Our Parents
The objective of this area is to strengthen the family and social networks of the children, adolescents and young people who participate in the programmes of Inti Runakunaq Wasin. The family and the school are their most important social spaces. With regard to reinforcing family relationships, the support of the schoolteachers is fundamental for the development of the children, for this reason they are entrusted with monitoring the children's family and academic situation.
The schools for parents are spaces of preparation and reflection for the families.
Different themes of orientation are followed each month with the aim of improving communication and the relationships between parents and children.This area also offers integral attention to the users of Inti Runakunaq Wasin with respect to education, health, social and cultural recreation and the programme of reinforcing the family. There is an individualized programme of home visits and academic monitoring. Preventative health campaigns are also important to achieve the integral wellbeing of the children and adolescents
