Professor Training

Inti Runakunaq Wasin, in its interest to better the attention and integral development of the children, adoloscents, and young people with special needs, offers its team of professors a variety of training workshops. The workshop's objective is to continuously bring the team up-to-date on diverse themes related to their daily work at IRW. The diverse training themes offered to the team include:

Waldorf Pedagogy Training: This method is an integral pedagogy where all of the parts that make a human, the body, soul and spirit are developed according to the child's growth. The child learns different subjects in a creative way and practices to speak from his/her heart and to his/her interests.

Beginning at the end of 2005, these trainings are provided continuously throughout the year and these workshops permitted us to improve the strategies and educator's role in the formative development of the children, adolescents, and young people with special needs.

Exchange Program with the Ann Sullivan Center of Peru: In January 2006, the pilot program for young people with special needs was started and to ensure adequate job training with the participants of this program, part of the team traveled to Lima to attend an exchange program with the Ann Sullivan Center. The Ann Sullivan Center is considered one of the best centers for people with special needs in Peru and all of Latin America.

Training in Business Administration: Inti Runakunaq Wasin has an institucional objective to teach proper business skills to the adolescents and young people to prepare them for their future. They teach these lessons through workshops by a specialist in business administration.
